Exploring AI for Genealogy Special Interest Group

The San Diego Jewish Genealogical Society is pleased to launch its new Exploring AI for Genealogy Special Interest Group (AI SIG).

The AI SIG will provide a welcoming place for members to learn about and discuss the growing role of artificial intelligence in genealogy. Meetings may include demonstrations, member experiences, practical tips, questions, and conversation about using AI thoughtfully in family-history research.

Our first meeting will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Future meetings are planned for every other month, on the third Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

The AI SIG is open to all SDJGS members, whether you are completely new to AI or already experimenting with it. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and an interest in genealogy.
